Free Shipping

eBladeStore.com offers free economy (ground) shipping within the United States for all orders over $99.00 and under 5 lbs. Estimated delivery time on this free shipping option is 5-7 business days from the date of shipment. You may choose to select and pay for an upgraded shipping method for faster delivery if you desire.

 

Shipping Methods

All orders ship United States Postal Service with tracking for domestic destinations. Please keep in mind however that USPS primarily updates tracking information when a package has shipped and when it has arrived (they don’t offer much info in between). Real-time rates are calculated during checkout prior to payment and order completion. Rates are based on weight of package, shipping destination and shipping method.

You have the option of comparing and changing the shipping method during checkout allowing you to select the method that best suits your needs. Options are Economy, Priority or Express which includes an Estimated Arrival Date.

Federal Express Home Delivery is available on larger/heavier orders. FedEx Overnight and Two Day Delivery are available upon request. Just contact our Customer Service, and they will be happy to help.


Risks; Packing Methods; Insurance

eBladestore.com takes pride in offering great prices on our products and getting them to our customers as safely and quickly as possible. We know that if we deliver you a quality knife in excellent condition, you’ll want to come back and order more! We know the shipping ropes, so we take each product and professionally package and reinforce it so that it is protected and ready for the road (sometimes this means we will breakdown a product box and enclose it in a protective sleeve.) However, once it leaves our warehouse, we have no control over how that package is handled or delivered by the different parcel carriers.

On occasion, you might receive a package where some of the items have been damaged or even lost during transit. While we are not responsible for a product once it leaves our warehouse, there is a way that you can minimize your risk. You can purchase shipping insurance that provides indemnity coverage for a lost or damaged item. Just select the shipping insurance option during checkout.

 In the rare event that you may need to submit a claim, we need you to contact us within 24 hours of shipment receipt, take a .jpg image of the item as well as the original shipping package showing the location or area of the package where the item was damaged or lost. Email this to us and we will email you a UPS return shipping label where applicable. We will then process your claim as quickly and efficiently as possible.

 

Inventory

As you can tell from our web site, we have a pretty big inventory. Keeping track of all these cool tools is a never-ending process. One minute, we have a knife sitting on the shelf ready to ship, and the next minute it might be gone, never to be created again by the manufacturer. A product we had ready to ship on Tuesday might be backordered on Wednesday. We do our best to keep as many products in stock as we can. But it’s important for you to understand a little about how our inventory flows so that you can have a solid expectation of when to expect your order.

Ships within 24 hours – No mystery here. We can reach out and touch this item. It’s on the shelf and can ship out within 24 hours of placing the order.

Ships in 24 to 48 hours – ebladestore.com has a few distributors throughout the US who can drop-ship for us. Basically this means they can reach out and touch the item. It’s on their shelf and they will mail it directly to you on our behalf. It typically takes a day or two from the time you place the order with us to ship.

Ships in 5-7 Days – most of the manufacturers and distributors that we work with ship their products directly to us. It generally takes them a day or two to package our order and a few days to ship it to our warehouse. If an item you order is not on our shelf, but is still listed as “in-stock” it means that we can get it from the manufacturer and ship it to you pretty quickly.

Backorder – On occasion, we might place an order with the manufacturer and find out that the item is on “backorder.” This means that the item is still produced by the manufacturer but that they are temporarily out of stock. Typically, it takes anywhere from 1-6 weeks for an item with this status to be re-manufactured or to clear customs and find it’s way back in stock on our shelf. When we discover an item is backordered or discontinued we will contact your right away and you can decide to either cancel the order, substitute the item with one that we do have in stock, or just wait patiently until we receive the item back in. Keep in mind that we only authorize your credit card at the time of purchase. This means we do not collect payment until we have the item in hand and ship it to you. This way, you can wait for a backorder with peace of mind.

Quantity & Multi-Item Orders – On occasion, we will experience an order of a large quantity of a particular item. The item may “ship within 24 hours” but we might only have a limited number on the shelf and we will need to order in additional quantity from the manufacturer before your items ship. Also, if an order contains multiple items, we typically ship when all of the items are ready to ship. If we find that one of the items on your order is backordered, we will contact you and you can decide to cancel that particular item, or wait patiently until we are able to ship the entire order.

 

Where's My Stuff?

Processing Time + Transit Time = Arrival Date

Average processing time is currently 3 business days. Email notice with your Estimated Ship Date (different from arrival date) will be sent once your order begins processing.

Transit Time

Within 24 hours of your Ship Date, we will email notice with tracking information. If you setup an account prior to placing your order, you can also login to your account to track your package. Upon notice, please allow appropriate transit time for the shipping method selected during checkout.

Shipment Delays

While we do stock many items, we do not stock every item listed on this site. If an item needs to be ordered in from a vendor, this will result in a 2-4 day processing time (sometimes a week or two depending on the particular vendor) and will be reflected in your estimated ship date that is emailed to you once your order begins processing.

Packages do not ship from our warehouse on weekends or US Federal holidays.

 

International

We are happy to ship orders to most countries outside the United States.

Packages ship via US Postal Service International First Class (Economy), International Priority Mail (Priority) or International Express Mail (Express). Transit time is approximately 7-12 days from the date of shipment. Please allow up to 20 days for delivery. If you can afford it, the “Express” mail option is fastest and most secure and is the only international option that allows you to track the delivery.

Fees: International customers are responsible for all taxes, duties and fees required by their customs services, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.

Seizure Risks: When ordering you need to be aware of customs risks associated with certain types of knives as you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. This is why it is important to be aware of the knife laws of your country or province. It is up to you to know what knives are legal in your country. We will do everything we can to make sure your item reaches you, but eBladeStore.com is not responsible for orders delayed, seized or refused by your customs service. This is a responsibility and risk you agree to when you order.

Customs Forms: eBladeStore.com will not falsify package contents or value on customs forms. Customs forms for all international packages list the value of your order's contents by product type.
