After two years of collaboration, Gerber is proud to introduce one of the toughest military survival knives ever made; the LMF II. With expert military instructor Frank Heyl as the guide, and the military as the proving ground, Gerber has created the single most important tool that you can carry.

In any survival situation, the LMF II can be used to construct shelter, cut firewood, spear dinner, or slice through an aircraft fuselage; even egress through helicopter Plexiglas. When survival counts the most, the LMF II is the one tool you must have at your side.

There is complete separation between the tang and butt cap, so the knife absorbs the shocks from hammering and prevents the shocks of electricity. Smartly situated grooves and lashing holes let the LMF II convert to a spear. The low-profile sheath facilitates movement, limits noise, works for parachuting, and attaches to a belt or Molle vest. The patented, integrated sharpener means edge retention in the field.

10 5/8" overall. 4 7/8" partially serrated 12C27 stainless steel with a non-reflective finish. OD green TPV overmolded on nylon handle. Full tang with butt cap that can be used as a hammer.

Also includes a 7 1/8" overall Safety Knife that easily cuts through nylon straps and seat belts. Both knives come with belt sheaths that are molle vest attachable.
