Russell Knives, famed for their enduring Barlow pocket knife design, as well as the Green River Knives of the old west, Russell is a name that equates tradition and value with function and beauty. It's interesting to note that the Russell Green River knife works was the source of the original Barlow pattern pocket knife in the 19th century. These knives have become extremely rare and collectible over the years. While the original Russell Knives company is now gone, the new Russell provides Barlows and a number of other folders and fixed blades that are made in Germany and Spain by companies like Boker. They are fine knives and represent an excellent value.
