Kyocera ceramic knives have many advantages over traditional
steel cutlery. Sharper than most steel knives, these
ultra-hard, ultra-sharp knives hold their edge longer
than steel, and they can last for years without sharpening.
Ceramic knife blades have no metallic taste or smell,
and they are stain-proof and rust-proof. Like diamonds
and sapphires, the elements of ceramic are formed in
nature through thousands of years of crystallization,
extreme temperatures and literally tons of pressure.
The result is a pure, dense, unrelenting material that
is 50% harder than steel, close to diamond in hardness.
Their nonstick ceramic surface makes them easy to
clean, and their light weight and perfect balance make
them a pleasure to use.
Kyocera ceramic cutlery should not be put in
the dishwasher, as the strong jets may cause them to
chip other objects or to become chipped themselves.
A quick wipe and rinse is all that should be needed
to keep your ceramic chef knives in great condition.
For storage purposes, your ceramic knives will do
just fine in a knife block, drawer or however you store
your other kitchen cutlery and cooking knives.
