J.A. Henckels was founded in Solingen, Germany in 1731. The company is 278 years old and today is still recognized worldwide as a symbol of fine kitchen knives and cutlery.

Since 1883, J.A. Henckels has been distributed and sold in the United States. With its introduction to the American market came recognition for superior cookware craftsmanship and quality.
